ISLAMABAD: The Joint Investigation Team (JIT), constituted to probe the allegations of monetary irregularities and cash laundering involving the top minister and his circle of relatives for setting up homes in a foreign country, is preserving its assembly these days (Tuesday).
Additional Director Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Wajid Zia is chairing the assembly being held on the Secretariat, housed within the Federal Judicial Academy.
The six-member staff is reviewing the documents summoned from various departments involved.
It is the 3rd assembly of the probe workforce, constituted by Supreme Court’s particular bench on May 05 to probe Panama Papers allegations towards ruling Sharif circle of relatives. The first assembly used to be held remaining Monday.
The particular bench, headed by Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan and comprising Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed and Justice Ijazul Ahsen had issued the order whilst listening to into the implementation of the Panama Papers verdict case.
