UAE hands over MQM's Hammad Siddiqui to Pakistan

KARACHI:   Hammad Siddiqui,  a key member the Muttahida Qaumi Movement and suspected of involvement in  Baldia manufacturing unit fireplace that killed loads of  laborers in 2012, has been passed over to Pakistan by United Arab  Emirates.

 Geo TV on Friday reported that Siddiqui used to be passed over to officials  from  Pakistan’s intelligence officers .

The suspect has been   transfered to Karachi for interrogation, the  TV  quoted unnamed  resources as pronouncing.

The MQM activists used to be arrested by UAE government in October. The Pakistan Embassy has been approached by the police for his extradition.

A courtroom, listening to Baldia manufacturing unit tragedy, had issued pink warrants for Siddiqui in January 2017. 

He is sought after in different instances by the Karachi police together with kidnapping, killing and extortion.

In September 2012, over 250 folks have been burnt alive at a manufacturing unit located in Karachi’s Baldia Town.

 Subsequent investigations led to revelations that the manufacturing unit used to be intentionally set ablaze over non-payment of extortion cash. Some MQM leaders have been implicated within the case as smartly.

Another top suspect within the case, Abdul Rehman alias Bhola, had confessed that he set the manufacturing unit on fireplace at the orders of Hammad Siddiqui, who used to be an influential Karachi chief of MQM.

Bhola used to be rounded up from Bangkok by the Interpol on December 03 ultimate yr.
