Terror bid foiled in KP

PESHAWAR: Police have foiled an apprehension bid in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Charsadda district by convalescing an enormous amount of hands and explosives buried at a graveyard.

A senior police reliable Muhammad Arif informed media 40 kg explosives, seven mortar shells, 5 faraway managed receivers, 10 hand granades, 13 Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) and detonators have been recovered from a graveyard in Shabqadar Tehseel of Charsadda.

Five suspected terrorists related to the Bajaur Group of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) have been additionally arrested by the police, he stated.

Muhammad Arif stated the police have been interrogating the suspects.
