SC summons CM Murad, former city nazim in Karachi water case

KARACHI: The Supreme Court on Monday summoned Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah and former city nazim Mustafa Kamal in Karachi consuming water case.

While listening to the case, Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar noticed that that provision of unpolluted consuming water and air pollution loose surroundings are the duties of state and it will have to satisfy its tasks in this regard.

Petitioner Shahab Usto knowledgeable the courtroom that the electorate have been being supplied unfiltered and unsafe water. He added that folks of Sindh’s 29 districts have been forced to drink polluted water.

On this, the CJ remarked that air air pollution is making lifestyles depressing for the loads and fatal illnesses like most cancers are spreading.

We will ask from the provincial leader government what his management is doing in this regard, he stated including that human lives are at stake and we can not forget about this factor.

The bench additionally summoned Mustafa Kamal, right through whose tenure the land reserved for Mehmoodabad water remedy plant used to be illegally allocated.
