Pillion riding banned in Karachi, other cities for Chehlum

KARACHI: KARACHI: The Sindh executive has imposed a two-day ban on pillion riding around the province from November nine to 10 in line with safety preparations all the way through the Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain.

A notification, issued on Thursday by the house division, stated that the pillion-riding ban would come into pressure from Friday middle of the night and would stay in position for two days, caution that strict motion can be taken towards violators. The choice has been taken to make sure safety in the province, particularly in Karachi.

While, ladies, disabled individuals, senior electorate, newshounds, workforce of regulation enforcement businesses and youngsters under 12 years of age would stay exempted from the ban,” stated the notification.
