The shoot of Sidharth Malhotra and Sonakshi Sinha starrer Ittefaq — a game of the past due Yash Chopra’s eponymous 1969 directorial — started in Mumbai on Monday, with celebrity Shah Rukh Khan giving his inventive inputs at the set.

Shah Rukh’s Red Chillies Entertainment is co-producing the film along side Dharma Productions and B.R. Films. It is being directed via the past due B.R. Chopra’s grandson Abhay.

“Great day one among ‘Ittefaq‘. Thank you SRK sir. This one might be particular,” Sidharth shared on Instagram, with a photograph that includes the staff with the film’s clapboard.
