PFA seals chili unit, owner arrested

LAHORE: The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) on Thursday carried out raid at a manufacturing unit production substandard pink chili and sealed it.
The raiding staff of PFA additionally recovered 2000 killograms adulterated chili, 1200 kilograms bran and 60 kg textile color from the manufacturing unit located at Rashidabad, Jhang Road. According to a spokesman of the authority, owner of the manufacturing unit Shakeel has been arrested underneath Punjab Food Authority Act.
The spices have been being provided to Faisalabad and different towns whilst the recovered pieces were discarded, he added.
