Panamagate decision: SC admits Sharif family plea for formation of five-judge bench to hear review petition

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Tuesday admitted Sharif family’s plea for formation of five-member bench of the apex courtroom to hear the review petition towards the courtroom’s July 28th choice in Panama Papers case.

A five-member higher bench had disqualified Nawaz Sharif from maintaining the place of work of top minister and ordered the National Accountability Bureau to start up investigations towards the previous top minister’s sons, son-in regulation and his shut aide Ishaq Dar.

According to Geo News, a three-member bench headed by Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan after listening to the arguments of Salman Akram Raja, suggest for Sharif’s sons, and Khawaja Haris, suggest for Sharif, despatched the topic to the Chief Justice of Pakistan.

Salman Akram Raja stated the plea for formation of five-judge bench used to be filed since the ultimate determination (July 28) used to be handed by a five-judge bench.
