Pakistan terms Modi’s meddling allegations 'baseless'

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has described Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s accusation of interference in Gujarat elections as completely baseless and irresponsible.

Foreign Office spokesperson Dr Muhammad Faisal, in a tweet, stated India will have to prevent dragging Pakistan into its electoral debate.

He went on to mention electoral victories will have to be made on one’s personal power slightly than fabricated conspiracies.

Modi had accused Pakistan of looking to meddle within the Gujarat meeting elections, linking it to a dinner hosted for a visiting Pakistani chief by Mani Shankar Aiyar, now suspended by the Congress, and which used to be attended by the previous top minister and different Congress leaders final week.
