Pakistan cannot owe responsibility of peace in Afghanistan: Asif

NEW YORK: Speaking at Asia Society seminar in New York, Foreign Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif has stated that Pakistan cannot owe responsibility of peace and safety in Afghanistan, including that efficient border control with Afghanistan is crucial to prevent infiltration of terrorists.

The minister stated that the United States cannot be triumphant in Afghanistan thru waging conflict, including that from 16 years of the continued warfare in Afghanistan, it’s transparent that peace is probably not restored by the ongoing hotel to army pressure, peace may also be restored in Afghanistan best thru a negotiated agreement, he added.

He stated nobody wants peace in Afghanistan more than Pakistan. Number of Afghan leaders need to proceed established order for his or her vested pursuits, the minster added.

Asif stated India is concerned in terrorist actions in Pakistan thru Afghanistan whilst more than sixty-six terrorist organizations are lively inside of India.
