RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff, General Qamar Javed Bajwa has stated that Pakistan Army fully supports mainstreaming of FATA and shall pursue it consistent with aspirations of tribal brothers.
According to Inter Services Public Relations, the Army Chief interacted with FATA delegations of Tribal elders and Youth Jirga at ISPR, the militaryâ€™s media wing.
He held detailed discussions with each delegations one by one.
Delegations stated and favored Pakistan Armyâ€™s sacrifices, efforts and contributions for peace and balance and socio-economic construction of FATA. They expressed their respective perspectives relating to mainstreaming of FATA and the best way ahead.
