NAB team tasked with collecting evidence of Sharif family properties in London returns

LAHORE: A National Accountability Bureau (NAB) team tasked with collecting evidence of properties belonging to the Sharif family on Tuesday returned from London.

Sources stated a two-member NAB team arrived at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport by means of PIA flight.

The NAB has filed corruption references towards Nawaz Sharif, his sons, daughter and son-in-law underneath the Supreme Court orders in Panama Papers case.

The Supreme Court in it July 28 verdict had disqualified Sharif from retaining public place of work and ordered the NAB to document references towards him.

Sharif’s shut aide and country’s finance minister Ishaq Dar could also be facing  trial following the courtroom orders.
