RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Army on Thursday introduced primary reshuffle in top rating officials. According to an Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR) free up, former director common (DG) of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lt Gen Asim Bajwa has changed Lt Gen Aamer Riaz as corps commander southern command (Quetta).
As in keeping with main points launched by army media wing, 3 army officials, together with former director common (DG) of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lt Gen Asim Bajwa, Lt Gen Riaz and Lt Gen Sadiq Ali were trasfered and posted.
Lt Gen Asim Bajwa has been posted as corps commander southern command (Quetta), changing Lt Gen Aamer Riaz, ISPR stated.
Lt Gen Riaz has been transferred to Lahore, the place he changed Corps Commander Lahore, Lt Gen Sadiq Ali.
While Ali has been posted as inspector common of the Arms Branch at General Headquarters, Rawalpindi, ISPR added.
Lt Gen Ali will substitute Lt Gen Asim Bajwa, who used to be posted because the inspector common of the Arms Branch by Chief of Army Staff Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa.
Lt Gen Asim Bajwa remained the general public face of the army for just about four-and-a-half years, and used to be the primary three-star basic to carry the placement.
He used to be succeeded as DG ISPR by Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor, the present ISPR leader, in Dec 2016.
