Khawaja Asif criticizes India for violating Indus Waters Treaty

ISLAMABAD: Criticizing India for steadily violating the 1960 Indus Waters Treaty, Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif has stated that New Delhi has been harming Pakistan’s hydel and agricultural tasks.

Speaking at a rite on the Institute of Strategic Studies, Khawaja Asif stated India had stopped abiding by the Indus Water Treaty.

The minister added India had built more than a few tasks in violation of the treaty and didn’t supply their designs to Pakistan.

He termed the topic of the Indus Waters Treaty crucial between Pakistan and India.

Khawaja Asif referred to as upon New Delhi to abide by the treaty as Pakistan does the similar.

“It is within the pastime of each India and Pakistan [to honour the treaty],” Asif added.
