JI threatens sit-in on 31st if Fata not merged with KP

ISLAMABAD: Jamaat-e-Islami has threatened to level a mammoth sit-in in Islamabad on Dec 31 if the federal government did not get started the method of Fata’s merger with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Addressing an extended march to Islamabad protesting the extend within the KP-Fata merger,  Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Sirajul Haq stated that the folk of Fata need their rights. They additionally need abolishment of the Frontier Crimes Regulation (FRC) after Fata’s merger with the KP, he added.

Sirajul Haq warned the federal government to make sure merger of the tribal spaces with the KP sooner than Dec 31.

He stated that the folk of Fata need to see their youngsters well-educated.

Earlier, the united opposition boycotted the National Assembly consultation and introduced that it will not attend the court cases till the Fata Reforms Bill is tabled within the parliament by the federal government.
