Funeral prayers offered for Pakistani diplomatic official gunned down in Afghanistan

ISLAMABAD: Funeral prayers for Pakistani diplomatic official Rana Nayyar, who used to be gunned down in Jalalabad, Afghanistan, the day prior to this, have been offered right here on Tuesday.

Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif and different high-ranking officers attended the funeral prayers.

Earlier, Nayyar’s frame used to be passed over to the Pakistani government on the Torkham border Tuesday morning.

Rana Nayyar, who labored as an assistant with the diplomatic challenge, used to be gunned down by unknown attackers driving on motorcycle out of doors his space in Jalalabad, Afghanistan on Monday.

The FO strongly condemning the homicide had demanded of the Afghan executive to strengthen safety of Pakistan’s diplomatic group of workers.

A senior Afghan official were summoned to the Foreign Office on Monday to obtain protest over the homicide of Pakistani diplomatic official.
