First Sikh Army officer gets married

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Army’s first Sikh officer Major Hercharn Singh on Sunday tied the Knot at Gurdwara PunjaSahib, Hasan Abdal, stated Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa in his message prolonged best possible needs for  matrimonial lifetime of newlywed couple, the observation added.

A lot of serving and retired officials of Pakistan Army attended the marriage rite Major Harcharn Singh.

According to Arm’s media wing, ISPR, Major Harcharn Singh used to be commissioned in Pakistan Army in 2007.

Pakistan Army stays a logo of nationwide integration and respects rights of spiritual minorities in Pakistan, the ISPR remark added.
