Fire erupts in North Karachi cardboard factory

KARACHI: More than dozens firefighters were making tense efforts to extinguish a blaze which broke out at a cardboard factory in North Karachi at the past due hours of Sunday.

As in line with main points more than 9 fireplace brigades are engaged to douse the hearth at the website, at the side of two snorkels.

While complaining about loss of assets, Mayor Karachi Waseem Akhtar, who used to be provide on location, stated that 80 % of the hearth has been contained although Karachi is dealing with scarcity on the disposal of the hearth division to successfully take care of such incidents.

Earlier, any other fireplace that erupted early Sunday morning in a cafe in Clifton’s Boat Basin space used to be doused after hours of annoying efforts.

Eight fireplace tenders and a snorkel of the town executive have been deployed to regulate the blaze.

According to fireside brigade officers, the three-storey eating place in the construction has been seriously affected by the hearth. There have been no casualties.

The rescue officers have been of the view that the hearth used to be brought about because of brief circuit.

According to the resources, the construction used to be underneath development and the fast-food eating place is situated at the floor flooring. The fireplace erupted from the bottom flooring engulfed the primary flooring too.
