CTD arrests two TTP men in Gujranwala

LAHORE: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on Friday claimed to have arrested two individuals of a proscribed organisation in Gujranwala, who have been allegedly making plans to assault the administrative center of a regulation enforcement company.

A spokesman stated that the CTD, on a tip off, raided a space in Gujranwala and arrested two alleged militants of the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) specifically Imran and Abubakar. He claimed the militants have been making plans to assault the place of work of LEAs.

The CTD workforce additionally seized guns, including  Kalashnikov, pistols, explosives and detonators from their ownership.
