Civilian martyred, four injured in Indian firing along LOC

RAWALPINDI: A civilian used to be martyred and four others injured when Indian troops resorted to unprovoked firing around the Line of Control (LoC) in Nikiyal Sector on Wednesday.

A observation by the Inter-Services Public Relations stated a civilian embraced martyrdom whilst four, together with 3 ladies, have been injured.

The Pakistan Army replied successfully and inflicted casualties and heavy losses at the Indian posts from the place the firing originated, the observation stated and added the Indian forces intentionally focused the civil inhabitants with heavy guns, together with mortars and anti-tank guided missiles.

The martyred used to be known as 22-year-old Muhammad Raziq, son of Abdul Khaliq, a resident of Balakot.

The injured have been known as Irum Kauser and Ghulam Fatima of Balakot, Kalsoom Begum of Panjni village and Ahsan Kareem of Datot village.
