Cellular services restored in major cities of Sindh, Quetta

KARACHI: The mobile services, suspended as phase of safety preparations on Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH), has been restored in major cities of the rustic.

The mobile phone community used to be suspended for 12 hours in Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur and Quetta.

A notification, issued by Sindh executive on Thursday, stated that mobile services in Karachi, Hyderabad and Sukkar will stay suspended from eight:00 am till eight:00 pm on Friday to deal with regulation and order.

The provincial executive had taken strict measures to make sure safety of processions on Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH), deploying a big numbers of safety team of workers.

Public Holiday

The federal and provincial governments had declared December 1 as public vacation on account of Jashan-e-Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH).

Muslims have fun the delivery of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) at the 12th of Rabiul Awaal, the 3rd month in Islamic calendar.
