Army, Rangers busy clearing rain affected areas in Karachi

KARACHI: Pakistan Army and Sindh Rangers groups, with dewatering apparatus, are busy round-the-clock to lend a hand civil management in clearing of areas affected by torrential rains.

According to Inter Services Public Relations, Liaquatabad No 10, Gharibabad Underpass, Kabaili Town Block five, Petrol Pump Chorangi, Nauras Chorangi, Old Golimar Chorangi, Nagan Chowrangi and Power House Chorangi were cleared.

Dewatering is in growth at Ayesha Manzil, Nazimabad underpass, Golimar Chorangi, North Karachi UC 13, Landikotal and Saadi Town, the ISPR stated.

It added that Orangi Nullah and Gujjar Nullah have additionally been regulated.
